aww. Today I had sectionals from 10am to 12pm. Yanling senior was the one teaching me chromatic scales. I felt giddy and tried to reach till middle C. I can do better! argh. x( Later on, I went for lunch with Adam and Zhenghui at the Roti Prata shop. I returned to band room, and with the encouragements from Adam and Zhenghui, I joined them for the brass tutorials. At first, I was not really confident if I could do it. And I hesitated about joining them. I am afraid I couldn't pitch alot of notes. In the end, I learnt LOTS. It was so fun! I tried to play with them the ' Howls moving castle'. It was freaking nice! I felt a sense of satisfaction when I played the 4th horn with the rest of the band. I was able to reach almost all the notes ( just got lost somewhere). The music just keep ringing in my ears, and I could not put it behind my mind after that. The seniors also played " The song of the sailors and sea" . It was darn difficult, I can see my seniors' face all crumpled up to reach all the high notes. The song expressed all the things happening on the sea, the times the storm comes ( if can imagine ). It was a mysterious and DIFFICULT piece. I just simply love it.
Zhenghui and I played ' yue liang dai biao wo de xin' together. And to my surprise, I could reach almost all the notes when I am not thinking that I cannot do it. And the song just come out like that. Without much difficulty I could finish the piece! I am so HAPPY!
